- Giving Back – a portion of all our profits go to the Grameen Foundation. We also try to choose suppliers who share our philosophy and have a policy of giving back, too.

- Women in Business – we choose to carry products from small, women-owned businesses.
- The Power of Information – we think that when people know better they do better – so it’s our goal to provide you with information that will empower you to live well.

It’s important to us that we provide you with the best product possible. We invest a lot of time into researching our products, and even their ingredients if necessary, so that we can be sure we are offering you products that truly are good for you.
It is our policy not to carry any product that rates above a 3 on Skin Deep: Cosmetic Safety Database.
Skin Deep is the Environmental Working Groups online safety guide for personal products.
Their rating system is:
0-2 Low Hazard
3-6 Moderate Hazard
7-10 High Hazard
